The Quaint Ferry is a small little wooden boat that crosses the French River in the early morning, afternoon, and at dusk. The boat is frequently rocked by passing water Pokémon, and trainers can usually find a bounty of Wingulls and other shallow-water Pokémon without even trying.

All across the river there are various parts that are shallow enough for a trainer to wade through. However, the river is very cold, and trainers often tell of accidentally bumping into water Pokémon with numb legs. And unused to people running into them, the water Pokémon are quite touchy, and often return the favor with a blast of cold water to the face.

Board Description
The French River
The French River is the main river in the south of Celeste. It is also the border of the tropics, as beyond it begins the mountainous regions. Small ferries usually cross the river, but you could also try swimming across at one of the shallower areas, as the river doesn't move very quickly.
